    Lied Center hosts 16 free events for students.

    The Arts for All Campaign put on by the Lied Center, allows University of Nebraska students to see select shows with no cost to them. There will be seven shows in the fall and nine shows in the spring that are free to students.

    The outlook for employment was strong in Nebraska during June.

    The outlook for employment was strong in Nebraska during June, while consumer confidence improved during the month, according to the latest monthly surveys conducted by the Bureau of Business Research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

    Business expectations remained positive during June, with 22 percent of businesses expecting sales to grow over the next six months, compared to 18 percent who think sales will decline. The outlook for employment was even stronger, with 18 percent of businesses expecting to add jobs versus just 6 percent planning to reduce employment.

    Education Abroad draws record numbers!

    Since restructuring oversight of international study, research, service-learning and internships in 2011, UNL has seen a significant increase in the total number of its students taking part in college-related, overseas experiences, reaching all-time institutional highs in academic years 2014-15 and 2015-16.
