26 ROTC cadets receive military commissions
Ten cadets in Army ROTC were commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Army on May 8; seven cadets in Navy ROTC received commissions during a virtual ceremony May 9, four as ensigns in the U.S. Navy and three as second lieutenants in the U.S. Marine Corps; and nine cadets in Air Force ROTC were commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Air Force during a virtual ceremony May 12. The Army ROTC ceremony has been postponed until Aug. 21; small, individual ceremonies will be held for cadets unable to attend.

Drive to serve leads Chase to National Guard, active duty
The new Master of Business Administration grad is one of a number of University of Nebraska–Lincoln students who are a part of the Nebraska National Guard’s 155th Air Refueling Wing and called to assist with COVID-19 testing statewide. Chase’s section within the 155th's medical group has served primarily in central and western Nebraska, operating drive-through testing stations in Grand Island and Lexington.

Nebraska U tuition to remain unchanged for next two years

University gears up for Go Big Grad celebration
Due to the threat of COVID-19, the university will hold a virtual "Go Big Grad" celebration rather than a traditional ceremony for May graduates. Along with being the university's first virtual graduation celebration, the event will feature a record-setting class of more than 3,500 graduates.
