Retired Marine, double amputee to speak Nov. 8

Retired U.S. Marine and double amputee Brandon Rumbaugh will speak at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium.

Rumbaugh lost both legs after stepping on an IED while serving in Afghanistan in 2012. He underwent months of rehabilitation and treatment. He now offers inspiration to others facing challenges.

The event, cosponsored by UPC Nebraska and the Student Veterans of America, is free for students with a valid NCard and $5 for faculty, staff and the public.
