Career Services transitions to Handshake employment platform
Career Services is transitioning to Handshake, an online, college employment platform used by more than 400 institutions and 200,000-plus employers.
Handshake, which replaces Husker Hire Link, offers a variety of features and makes it easier for users to manage resumes, connect with employers and get a start on future career plans. It is also the university's leading source for students seeking on-campus employment.
Handshake is available online and students can start creating profiles immediately.
Students can use Handshake to upload a resume; create an online career profile; learn about employers attending upcoming career fairs; view details about on-campus career events; research contact information for employers; and search for and apply to open positions.
