Washington DC Professional Enrichment Academy (DCPEA)

DCPEA is a university-system program aimed to connect students who have summer internship in DC with each other and alumni in the area. The program serves all students from all majors and campuses. There is no cost for enrolling. In fact, funding is available for students as needed.

This is a value-add program where students can participate in group socials, local DC events, and meet guest lecturers to expand their professional networks. An optional zero-credit academic course is available, but not necessary to participate in the program. Allison Docter and her collegue plan to host an info session for interested students sometime in March, so we will keep you posted.

The application opened on January 20^th and closes April 15^th. As you hear from students about their summer plans, if any of them are heading to DC, please keep this program in mind for ways to get them connected.
