CPT James Ahn Special Forces Memorial Scholarship $1,000 | https://www.gainserviceacademyadmission.com/cpt-james-ahn-memorial-scholarship/ | Captain James Ahn, a graduate of UC Riverside and the Claremont McKenna College Army ROTC program, died in 2015 during a parachute training operation while participating with his Special Forces unit in Washington State. Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation $5000 | WOASF provides post-secondary scholarships to dependent children and spouses of all US Navy aviation personnel - officer and enlisted - active duty, retired, honorably discharged, or deceased. Recipients are selected based on scholastic merit, community service, extra-curricular activities, and character. Wings Over America annually sponsors fifty scholarships to students who have chosen to continue their education. Scholarships include community college, trade, and technical school as well as traditional college scholarships. They have annual and renewable scholarships and administer scholarships for other Navy aviation groups.

Warrior-Scholar Project | Participate in an academic boot camp to excel in college and set yourself up for success in college by attending a Warrior-Scholar Project academic boot camp. Revisit college-level reading and essay writing, brush up on math and physics, or build business and entrepreneurship skills in these immersive college experiences. |
There are several scholarship apps on the Apple App store and Google Play store, many of which are FREE. Two such apps are “Scholly” and “Scholarships.com” (shown below). The Scholly FREE join code for military and veterans is: SchollyForVets. Both apps have web-based versions, and both provide options for finding scholarships by search criteria or categories.
