As December arrives and the semester comes to a close, we want to extend our appreciation to our Military & Veteran Success Center community here at UNL. As we close out the semester, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Natalie Frederick, who has been a vital part of the Military & Veteran Success Center for the past 3 ½ years. Natalie’s dedication, compassion, and unwavering support have shaped the experiences of countless military-connected students at UNL. Her expertise as our Military and VA Benefits Specialist and her steady presence as Program Coordinator have made the MVSC a trusted, welcoming place for those navigating education, service, and life transitions.
Her professional journey reflects her commitment to helping others succeed, and her work at the MVSC has continued that legacy every single day. Whether she was assisting a student with VA benefits, coordinating programming, or simply offering a kind word, Natalie did so with warmth, patience, and genuine care.
As she moves into her new role in a different department, we are incredibly grateful for the impact she has made and the many lives she has touched. While we will miss her presence in the MVSC, we are excited for the next chapter of her journey and know she will continue to make a difference wherever she goes.
