The University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Popcorn Pop-Up returns Sept. 3. The "pop"ular event is offered from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursdays in the Nebraska' Union's Crib. The free event offers popcorn, Pepsi products and activities hosted by campus departments and student organizations.
An average of 239 people attended each Popcorn Pop-Up last academic year, with more than 8,372 attendees since the event began in spring 2025. Thirteen dates are scheduled for the fall semester, with 13 more planned for spring. The event is organized by the Division of Student Life, Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement, Nebraska Unions and Dining Services.
