University of Nebraska–Lincoln faculty, staff and students can experience a "Taste of Maryland" seafood boil from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Willa Cather Dining Complex.
The event celebrates homecoming as Husker football prepares to take on the Maryland Terrapins on Oct. 3. Organized by University Housing and Dining Services, the event will feature Maryland seafood fare, complete with potatoes and sausage, a shrimp boil with corn, Maryland crab cakes, crabmeat mac and cheese, Old Bay seasoned fried chicken, Cheddar Bay biscuits, fried okra, crab salad and Old Bay deviled eggs.
