Meet Your Tutoring Staff

This months edition of “Meet Your Tutoring Staff!” Is Abigail Bennetts Burkey. This gives you a great opportunity to get to know some of the amazing resources the MVSC has to offer you as military affiliated.

My name is Abigail Bennetts Burkey! I am a first year law student here at Nebraska and I am currently the Spanish tutor.

As a military dependent, I have had access to the resources in the MVSC and I wanted to contribute to what is offered to other military connected students by becoming a tutor.

After I finish law school, I hope to use my degree to be in a service driven vocation acting as an advocate and voice for those who may be silenced and disadvantaged. I’m not sure yet exactly where that will take me, but I’m okay with figuring it out as I go!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, playing pickle ball, and binge watching my favorite shows!
