Learn to Earn with NRC Health

NRC Health was established in 1981 and is now based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their purpose is to enable healthcare organizations to understand what matters most to each person they serve and ease their journey. NRC Health does this by collecting healthcare consumer data, as well as creating healthcare products and subscription- based solutions with analytics, programs and insights.

NRC Health has internship and full-time opportunities for multiple majors such as business, software engineering focusing on data analytics, as well as psychology. Full-time positions open as need. If you are looking at joining NRC Health as a summer sales development intern the application timeline process has already started. It would be better to apply closer to September as they interview throughout the academic year and the positions could be filled quickly. They will fill 10 openings through this process. Any individual seeking employment outside of business-related operations will have to apply for full-time positions (look for, around those around Spring Break).

For NRC Health the goal of internships is to develop a professional that can be brought on as a full-time associate. This means interns get real world experience and responsibilities so that there is a smooth transition. The internship program has been set up so that interns have career coaches/mentors and team building activities during the summer. They are looking for individuals that want to take initiative, are independent and have good time management skills.

Some perks of working for NRC Health are 4 weeks per year of sick/vacation time, health saving accounts, 401k match, flex scheduling. Also, they have scholarships for juniors and seniors interested in sales or marketing. If you are interested apply for the scholarship at: go.unl.edu/nrchealth2019.
